Children's Birthday Party Workshops
Party slots are available during the day and after school Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and also on a Saturday.
Access into our venue will be available from 15 minutes before the party start time and for 15 minutes after the end of the party. Parents/carers are welcome to stay on and enjoy the use of our cafe and shop area during this time.
You are welcome to bring a birthday cake/cupcakes but, please be aware, you will need to cut the cake up yourself during the party session. We can provide a knife, but please come prepared with candles and serviettes/bags or boxes.
What's included in our parties?
Aged 7+ Parties (Party length 60 minutes)
The minimum age of the birthday child is 7 (although younger siblings are welcome) and we can take any number of children between 5 and 12. The cost of these parties is £20 per head. A £5 per head deposit will secure your party slot. Optional extras are listed below.
What's included with our 7+ parties?
· Birthday child will make a personalised giant 8" lollipop with our chocolatier
· Each child will make 3 different chocolate creations (transfer sheet lollipop, topped mini taster bar and your choice of option from the list below)
· Ready made party bags, as each child will take home a bag of their packaged, chocolate creations
· Chocolate quiz with prizes (if time allows)
· Lots of chocolate consumed throughout!
· Our spacious café room is available for all who are involved, with a viewing window to watch every stage of the session, whilst enjoying a drink and catch up without the noise, mess or stress usually involved in parties!

Optional Extras:
· Bottle of Fruit Shoot/Water - £1.10 ph
· Children's Box Meal (add 20-30 minutes to the party time) - A party table will be ready for the children with a box meal each including a bottled drink, sandwich selection pack, packet of crisps, raisin box, yoghurt tube and a chocolate lollipop. - £8.75 ph
(+£1 extra ph for gf and +£3 for df or v options)
· If your party is a shared one, add a second giant, personalised birthday lollipop for the cost price of £8.
Aged 10+ Parties (Party length 60 minutes)
Children aged 10 and above are also welcome to choose from the previous party options if preferred.
The minimum age for the birthday child for these parties is 10 and we can take any number of children between 5 and 12. The cost of these parties is £20 per head. A £5 per head, non refundable deposit will secure your party slot.
Each participant will be taught the skills and chocolate making techniques needed to make a number of different chocolate creations. During the fun, informal session, everyone will make a transfer lolly, design a unique slab bar and use our professional moulds to produce a variety of handmade chocolates. The birthday child will also work with our chocolatier to produce a giant, personalised lolly. All of the things will be ready to take home at the end of the session- the perfect bag of favours for older ones!

Aged 12-16 Parties (Party length 60 - 75 minutes)
Young people aged 12 and above are also welcome to choose from the previous party options if preferred.
For 12 -16 year olds, we are able to offer one of our Young People's workshops as a private session where the activities are designed specifically for that age group and more developed chocolate skills and techniques are used. These workshops need a minimum of 4 , max of 10 participants and are £25 a head.
Young people can select their party theme from the following options:
•Chocolate Variety
•Chocolate House
•Chocolate Shoe
•Seasonal (Valentine's, Easter or Christmas)
During these sessions soft drinks/water/juice will be provided.
Optional Extras:
· Party Food (add 20-30 minutes to the party time) - A party table will be ready for the children with sandwich platters, crisps, a range of sweet and savoury items and a bottled drink - £9.50 ph (+£1 ph for gf and +£3 for df or v options)
· Afternoon Tea (add 45 minutes to the party time) - A selection of sandwiches, sweet treats and savoury delights will be served to your guests on traditional afternoon tea stands. A choice of tea, coffee, classic hot chocolate or any cold drink will also be available. - £15 ph

A £5 per head, non refundable deposit is required when booking in order to secure your party/workshop slot. The balance must be paid up to 7 days before the date of the party/workshop.
