We began as a dessert and chocolate cafe and have grown to now offer a number of savoury options as well as the high quality sweet treats and desserts we have become known for. We have indoor and outdoor seating areas and we work hard to maintain very high standards of cleanliness everywhere. We are able to offer some gluten and dairy free options- please just ask one of our team. Everyone is welcome, we don't take bookings, just pop in!

Drinks.
Whether it's one of our signature hot chocolates, chocolate shots, teas, coffees, soft drinks or one of our ice cream shakes, we have something for everyone at at Chocolate Whirled. We have oat and almond milk alternatives and can make our hot chocolates using dark chocolate for vegans or dairy intolerant customers to enjoy. Each one of our indulgent hot chocolates are made using plenty of warm, melted Belgian chocolate, mixed with hot, frothy milk, which results in "the best hot chocolate ever" according to our many returning hot chocolate fans!
Cakes.
We make most of our cakes in house and have a great variety of really different traybakes, cheesecakes, biscuits and sponges to choose from. All of our cakes are available to take away or to enjoy in our cafe on their own or with some of our farm produced ice cream.
Savouries.
As well as our large choice of desserts, we also do a range of fresh sandwiches, paninis, teacakes, crumpets, toast, brunch platters and children's boxes.
Our paninis and sandwiches are served with kettle chips, coleslaw and a salad leaf garnish and our toasted items come with butter, jam and also a pot of warm, melted chocolate.
We are also able to offer gluten free options for toast, crumpets and toasted sandwiches.
Desserts/ Ice Cream.
We have a well established reputation among our customers for providing great tasting, decadent desserts for all the family, whilst always using the best ingredients. All of our ice cream shakes, sundaes, ice cream trays and many ice cream desserts use the amazing Wallings ice cream, produced locally on their farm up near Lancaster. Complimented by our delicious Belgian chocolate (no nasty, cheap versions used here!!), it results in making our desserts extra special, whether it's our sugar waffles, cookie and ice cream or anything else!
We also have a selection of different sized dipping platters served with your choice of warm, melted chocolate dipping pots and our popular dipping strawberries, for those wanting something a little lighter!
We have occasional days through the year which are exclusively kept for pre booked, private afternoon tea sessions. These can be booked by popping into the shop or messaging.
Our afternoon teas can also be booked by groups of 2+ adults as add ons when attending one of our private workshops.

Minimum of 2 people.
A selection of freshly prepared sandwiches on white bread (unless requested otherwise) chosen from the list options below and accompanied by a wide selection of sweet and savoury treats, served on our lovely, slate afternoon tea stands.
To include one pot of tea, coffee, classic/ ultimate hot chocolate soft drink, fruit juice, still/sparkling water or milkshake. Additional drinks can be purchased separately as required on the day.
Adult sandwich selection:
Choose up to 2 different fillings.

Select a filling of either ham. jam or cheese. White bread will be used unless requested otherwise. Served alongside some savoury treats and a range of sweet treats with your choice of warm, melted, Belgian chocolate pot to dip your treats in and enjoy.
